The Australian Asian Association of WA Inc. T/A Triple A Care provides support to clients in need through the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP). This Program is available to frail older persons with a functional disability. CHSP seeks to maximise the independence of eligible clients within the wellness framework and reablement approach. We support clients from the general public and from the culturally and linguistically diverse communities such as India, Sri Lanka, Burma, Pakistan, Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Bangladesh, Thailand, Latin America, Middle East, Russia and Spain.
Eligibility for CHSP services is determined by an Assessment through MY Aged CARE. The assessment identifies with you the areas in which you need support and plans individualized goals with you for the services you may receive.
Social Support Group
The aim of the Social Support Group program is to assist consumers to participate in community life and feel socially included through structured, group-based activities that develop, maintain or support independence and social interactions. Transport will be provided from place of residence to venue and back. The centres operate from the Australia Asia House in Perth and from our venue in Canning Vale. On arrival they will be met by staff and provided with tea/coffee and biscuits During the day clients will be encouraged to participate in Light Exercises, Dancing, other suitable activities such as Bingo, Board Games, Arts and Craft, Memory games, Knitting and regular information sessions/Guest Speakers. Regular outings and excursions are organised.
